We pride ourselves on the variety and quality of plants on offer at Beetham Nurseries. Whether you are looking for a herbaceous perennial, bedding plant, tree, shrub, exotic or rare plant, or even houseplants, we have it all here within our Garden Centre and Growing Nursery.
We take pride in the plants we grow here at Beetham Nurseries and are keen to pass on our expert knowledge through dedicated online guides. If you need garden inspiration, keep checking our plant of the month page, which we regularly update to showcase the best seasonal blooms. We always love to share advice from our experienced plant team in our garden tips and advice area. So whether you are looking for help building your allotment, aren't sure if it's time to plant for the bees and butterflies yet, or are need specific advice like how to chit seed potatoes, you can find it there.
Built in 2014 to mark our 30th anniversary, the Growing Nursery is our specialistic growing area where you can buy garden plants that have exclusively been grown at Beetham Nurseries. This traditional retail nursery compliments our main garden centre, where you can browse our shrub nursery, rose nursery, and tree nursery. In the conservatory, you'll find our exotic plants nursery, with plants from across the world waiting to take pride of place in your conservatory or orangery. All our homegrown and exotic plants are cared for and maintained by our expert gardeners until they go home with you.
For those of you looking to create or build upon your allotment, our vegetable plants for sale include tomato plants and seed potatoes, in addition to a wide range of seasonal vegetables, keeping you well stocked with homegrown veggies all year round. We also have seasonal fruit trees for sale in-store throughout the year.
Our growing nursery is best seen in person, where you walk amongst our professionally designed beds, take in the scents, see the beautiful colours, and have the chance to ask our team for advice. The products grown within our growing nursery are only available to buy at our garden centre near the Lake District. If you are staying nearby or live locally, please do pop in and see the growing nursery for yourself during its opening months between March and October. What's more, while visiting, you can also stop by the Beetham Nurseries Café for a bite to eat too!
