Unwrap the Magic — Beetham Nurseries Christmas Markets 2023

Beetham Nursery Christmas Markets 2023

The most wonderful time of the year is just around the corner, and there's no better way to bring in the festive season than by surrounding yourself with the sights, sounds, and smells of Christmas at the Beetham Nurseries Christmas Markets. These FREE bustling Christmas Markets over two weekends are filled with seasonal delights and merriment for locals and visitors alike.

A Winter Wonderland

From Thursday 30th November to Sunday 3rd December, and Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th December 2023, Beetham Nurseries transforms into a winter wonderland. The air is filled with the scent of freshly-cut pine from our real Christmas trees (freshly-cut and potted!) which are available from 25th November, and twinkling lights create a magical ambience that's perfect for the whole family.

Chalet Market Village

In the Christmas Markets at Beetham Nurseries, local artisan producers showcase their talents in charming wooden chalets, offering visitors a chance to discover one-of-a-kind pieces that make for thoughtful and meaningful presents. From handmade jewellery to dogwear, artisan gin to unique kidswear, and everything in between — there's something for everyone on your Christmas shopping list.

Festive Food & Drink

From festive treats to warming drinks, our Garden Cafe, Wood Fired Kitchen, and street food vans provide a feast for the senses. Whether you're craving a steaming cup of mulled wine, seasonal street food, or a delicious Baked by Beetham sweet treat, we cater to all tastes.

Entertainment for All Ages

The festive spirit extends beyond shopping and dining. The Beetham Nurseries Christmas Markets boast a lineup of entertainment for all ages. Carolers, brass bands, and singer-songwriters will fill the air with Christmas classics, while the cheeky elves will be making a special appearance — getting up to mischief, hiding and waiting to be found. A colouring competition in The Garden Cafe and family crafting on Sunday 3rd 10am-4pm and Sunday 10th 1.30pm-4pm will ensure that there's never a dull moment for little ones.

As well as our Beetham-made wreaths available for sale, we will also be running some wreath-making workshops. Book now to avoid missing out! We will also have some drop-in workshops, where you can sign up and pay on the day to make a rustic potted candle arrangement with seasonal foliage.

Don't forget, KingSharp will be here!

We are delighted that KingSharp will be joining us for the Christmas Markets. You'll find Stuart operating from his fully-fitted van at the entrance door to Beetham Nurseries in the car park on Thursday 7th December (12 noon till 5pm), Friday 8th December (10am till 4pm), Saturday 9th December (10am till 4pm), and Sunday 10th December (10am till 4pm). KingSharp can sharpen almost anything with a blade! What better time to get your carving knife sharpened, and ready for Christmas Day?
