Northern Heights Dance & Aerial
Prepare to be amazed as Northern Heights Dance & Aerial take to the skies in The Growing Nursery! Their aerial performance display will take place on both Friday and Saturday from 12 noon to 2pm. Watch in awe as talented aerialists perform gravity-defying stunts on hoops and silks, creating a visual spectacle that is sure to leave you spellbound.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! After the performances, your little ones can participate in FREE workshops where they can try out the aerial hoop and silks themselves. This hands-on experience is perfect for budding acrobats and adventurous kids looking to reach new heights. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to learn from the best and soar to new heights!
Magical Fairy Hunt
Our younger visitors are in for a treat with our enchanting Fairy Hunt. Fairies will be hiding among the flowers in The Garden Centre and The Growing Nursery, waiting to be discovered. Pick up a Fairy Hunt card at the Information Desk and embark on a magical quest throughout the weekend. It’s a delightful way to explore the beautiful surroundings and engage in a bit of fun. You can hunt for presents in the Big Beetham Giveaway too!
Colouring Competition Fun
Head over to The Garden Cafe and The Wood Fired Kitchen, where our colouring competition will be in full swing. This activity is perfect for children who love to express their artistic side. The best entries will have a chance to win fantastic prizes, so be sure to put your best colouring skills to the test!
Save a Daisy: A Creative Heritage Experience
We’re thrilled to introduce “Save a Daisy,” an exciting new activity that combines creativity with a touch of history. Kids can explore their artistic talents by painting a cast of a daisy from an 18th Century gilded English mirror frame. With a palette of colours to choose from, including gold, children can restore their daisy to its former glory or give it a modern twist. Each daisy will be adorned with a ribbon of the child’s choosing, making it a perfect keepsake or gift.
Join us for the Save a Daisy activity in The Growing Nursery from 11 am on Sunday 28th July. It’s a wonderful way to connect with English heritage while fostering creativity in our young visitors.
